Monthly Mudra

Mudras are meditative hand postures that shift the electrical impulse of your body to elicit a specific response. Every nerve in your fingers and hands literally run through every part of your body enabling you to shift your mood and nervous system response. These electric currents are referred to as nadis and there are 72,000 of them!

The right side of your body is ruled by the sun and reflects the masculine aspects of your personality. The left side of your body is ruled by the moon and reflects feminine aspects of your personality. Each finger on your hand is also ruled by individual celestial bodies.

Thumb: Mars and is related to your ego and will
Index finger: Jupiter and is related to growth, abundance and knowledge
Middle finger: Saturn and is related to patience, emotional control and  ambitions
Ring finger: the Sun and is related to vitality, health and heart matters
Little finger: Mercury and is related to secrets, creativity and communication

Mudras can be practiced anywhere, all you require is a little bit of time: three minutes is all you really need for the mudra to start taking effect. Most mudras can be held for 3-15 minutes each depending on how much time you have to devote to the practice.






Mudra for Protection. 








Begin by sitting with a straight spine in a quiet place. Bring your right hand up to your heart chakra and make a fist. Cup your left hand over it to create a shield. Breathe slowly and deeply through your nose in and out. Hold this for three minutes or so while rolling this mantra through your mind: 
I am invisible to negative energies and entities. 
I find this Mudra very effective when you know you will be in an environment with known psy vamps.
